The Workbook
Pull the weed.
Plant the thanks.
The flytrap’s stomach is full of complaints — and it still feels miserable. Gratitude is the one thing that starves it.
1
Catch one complaint
Today, when a complaint rises up, pause and name it. That is the weed.
2
Pull it up by the root
Say a thanks that points to the true thing behind the complaint. The weed loses its food.
3
Plant one thanks for tomorrow
Write down the same 3 things to be thankful for. Tomorrow morning, before your feet hit the floor, spend at least 60 seconds thanking God for them.
One weed out, one seed in. That is feeding the seed.
